She graduated from Central Square Central School 1996
 and married: Anthony Kunzelman of West Monroe in 199Samantha also is employed at Children's Hospital in Dayton, Ohio as a Laboratory Technician.

The 711 HPW selected as our Wing’s Air Force Medical Service Award winner, TSgt Samantha J. Kunzelman, USAF Laboratory NCO of the Year. Samantha is the daughter of Mary and Ned Barnes from West Monroe, New York. Samantha is stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Samantha will now compete at the AFMC-level. If selected at that level, Samantha will then be forwarded to compete at the Air Force-level. Please join in congratulating this outstanding, medical professional. Samantha's outstanding achievements and contributions have had a major impact across the wing and the Air Force. We will formally recognize Samantha at our wing-wide ceremonies on January 22, 2010. Samantha is the daughter of Legion Rider members Ned & Mary Barnes. We’re proud of you all & Thank You!
