Hi there, I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped
with the Clamfest, it was just great, a good time had by all. A special thanks
to Bob Longmuir for heading up the committee. Mark your calendars for the Grand
Opening and first Chicken BBQ on August 15th., more to come later. It's been a
very busy summer already, the horseshoe leagues are off and running, both Monday
and Wednesday evenings, come out and support the players, and maybe sign up for
the next session. Also, Bingo on Wednesdays is a lot of fun. So choose your
favorite and join in. We will be looking for a lot of volunteers for the Chicken
BBQ, so please come out and help your Legion, sign up sheets will be posted
soon. The State American Legion Convention is this weekend, and also the parade
downtown. Hope you all can support it. Take a little time and visit the Legion
and see what is available for you and your family. Please come in, visit,
volunteer, and enjoy a great time. .
