Stellar Blade Release Date And Supported Platforms

If you checked out Stellar Blade and felt like something was amiss or you were having deja vu you are not going crazy. You have probably already caught a glimpse of Stellar Blade or as it was known formerly, Project EVE. The game has been the talk of the town amongst gaming buffs especially due to the similarity between Stellar Blade and the Devil May Cry series.

While the game is similar to Devil May Cry, a stark difference will be the sci-fi setting. While the trailer was shown at the Sony’s September 2022 State of Play, thankfully not too much detail was given. That is not to say that the trailer did not grab the attention of fans but it left much to be desired. 

Which is the mark of a good trailer, giving too much away takes away from the special moment when you play a game for the first time. Fans are excited and have many questions, mainly what the Stellar Blade release date is and which platforms will see Stellar Blade release. What Is Stellar Blade? 

Without going into too many spoilers, especially from what was shown in the demo that’s available to download from the PlayStation Store right now, we’ll go through what the trailer that was released at the State of Play showed. The trailer open up to an old man who like a cyborg is combined with different machines. Most of him and much of his brain is also is fused with machines.

The old man talks of a time some force overcame humans but is cut off and we are in the inside of a ship. We are then introduced to the city of Xion and the game’s protagonist EVE. EVE is shown to be turning on a generator or similar device that provides power to a huge room where thousands of humans are kept in deep sleep due to insufficient energy.

We then cut to our first look of the enemy, a gruesome beast that has enlarged limbs, a huge mouth that is filled with rows of vertical teeth, and blades in hands. The enemy is called a Naytiba, and we are shown another that is larger than the first and is swinging swollen fists. We are then shown EVE fighting the duo and some robots with a gun, blade, and some special power.

We see some more gameplay and then cut to the old man who ends the trailer with a question if EVE can save them this time?

Stellar Blade Release Date And Supported Platforms 

The scheduled Stellar Blade release date is April 26, 2024, and the game is a PlayStation 5 exclusive. While this is not a good news for players that own the PC or other consoles we will update if anything changes about the Stellar Blade release for other platforms.

Stellar Blade is already available for preorder and there are two difference version that you can buy. The standard version is priced at $69.99 and the deluxe version that comes with extra goodies is going to cost you $79.99.

While you can buy either version depending on your choice, the deluxe version comes with the following extras – Stargazer Suit for EVE, Half-rim Glasses for EVE, Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for EVE, Stargazer Wear for Adam and Lily, Stargazer Pack for the Drone, 2,000 SP EXP, and 5,000 Gold in-game currency.
