Baldur’s Gate 3 Arcane Tower Guide: Button Location And More
The Dungeons & Dragons-inspired game by Larian Studios has one of the most extensive in-game worlds in any RPG. There are various people to interact with and countless locations to explore. The locations also have unique items or other characteristics that increase the enjoyment of the players.
One such thing exists in the Arcane Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3. The button in the Arcane Tower is unique due to the requirement for you to be able to interact with it and also for what it unlocks. We will be discussing what the Arcane Tower is, how to get inside and activate the elevator, and the button location.

What Is The Baldur’s Gate 3 Arcane Tower?
If you are traveling within the Underdark in Baldur’s Gate 3 you will inevitably cross paths with Mind Flayer Omeluum. He is based in Myconid Colony and unlocks the quest Tell Omeluum About The Parasite. A requirement of the quest is collecting two dangerous mushrooms from the Arcane Tower.
The Arcane Tower was once home to Lenore De Hurst but she has not been seen there for more than a decade. While she will not be a cause for trouble in your quest there are other issues that you must face. Some of these include shutting down the Arcane Cannons and activating the elevator of the Arcane Tower.
The two objectives listed above sound simple enough when reading but can be tricky to accomplish on your path to the goal. Furthermore, while clearing the tower you can collect much magical loot and will be rewarded the Psionic Ring by Omelumm at completion. If you are ready to brave the Arcane Tower it is located in the Southwest of the Underdark.
Getting there is really straightforward, you can grab the fairy ring from the basement of Auntie Ethel or simply jump across the chasm Southeast of the Duergar fishing village. Once you are there you can follow this guide and easily accomplish your mission.
How To Get Into The Tower?
Once you get to the location and access the Arcane Tower you should notice your first obstacle, the turret. Rest easy as it will not shoot unless you walk into the courtyard so standing near the ruins is safe. Now you have two choices – either destroy the turret and take your whole party inside or task your rouge teammate with sneaking past.
If you should choose the latter, the rouge just needs to be careful about avoiding the red sights, and getting in the tower should be easy enough. If getting hit is unavoidable keep in mind that 1 or 2 shoots should not kill you. Once you get up the stairs you can rest for a minute but you still have to enter the tower and face the challenges inside.
How To Activate The Elevator?
Once you enter the tower you should be greeted by 2 more turrets guarding a nonfunctional elevator. To activate the elevator you need to get to the bottom floor of the tower and for that head to the balcony doors on your left. Once there you need to prepare yourself for a jump from the balcony to the blue mushroom and continue this until you get to the bottom floor.
At the bottom floor look for a locked door that you can lockpick to reach a Sussur Tree at the back of the tower. At the base of the tree should be two flowers. The Sussur Blossoms are required for you to turn the power back on in the elevator. So take the flowers back with you and interact with the elevator. Doing this will activate the elevator and disable the turrets, allowing you to explore all the floors of the tower.
The Button On The Bedroom Floor
During your exploration of the Arcane Tower, you should come across a button that supposedly does nothing. However, the button does have a purpose and you can not use it due to not having the required item.
Head back to the Sussur Tree and look for a graveyard, digging up a grave will get you a dog collar. Equipping the dog collar and pressing the button grants you unlimited meat.
With this, we reach the end of our Baldur’s Gate 3 Arcane Tower Guide. We went over how to best get inside the tower, how to activate the elevator, and how to get the button to work. For more from GamingFlaws do check out Roblox: RoBending Codes (March 2024).
