Helldiving is a unique experience where you explore the galaxy while fighting monsters to reclaim the captured planets. There are many methods at your disposal that you can use to make sure you win your battles. For instance, you can use the reinforce stratagem to revive teammates who perish while fighting. In addition, you could make use of the mechs once they are available to take on more formidable foes.

That being said, even though those methods are good to have at your disposal, your most important asset will always be your weapons. If you were asked which primary weapon is your favorite, there is a high probability you would say the SG-Breaker Shotgun. However, like most gamers, there is a huge possibility that you also like changing up weapons and trying new ones.

Well, we come today bearing good news. There has been a leak of new Primary Weapons that will be introduced in the game. We will go through all the weapons and give as much information as possible so you know what to expect from them.

All New Leaked Primary Weapons

Four weapons and two new backpack stratagems have been leaked and we will let you know everything we know about them so far below.

CB-9 Exploding Crossbow

The CB-9 Exploding Crossbow is the most interesting addition to the game since it introduces projectiles to Helldivers and is the first crossbow of the game. Looking at its armor penetration stat and the expected damage from the explosion, this is definitely a weapon that players will love to have in their inventory. However, a drawback is the time it will take the arrows to hit the enemies once shot. In addition, there may be complications with projectiles being affected by gravity.

R-36 Eruptor Rifle

The R-36 Eruptor Rifle is another projectile shooter that offers ample armor penetration and explosions on impact. It seems to be similar to the Autocannon and can be looked at as a sniper and primary weapon version of the former. This rifle is a better choice for long-range attacks as trying to attack targets from close quarters can cause harm to you or your crew members.

Arc-12 Blitzer Shotgun

The Arc-12 Blitzer Shotgun stats are currently unknown but the description reads,“’This shotgun blasts a wide burst of high-voltage electricity that arcs between all units,” ensuring it will be a useful new primary weapon. From the description, it can be assumed that since the weapon uses shock attacks, it will be able to deal with swarms of smaller units with ease. However, since the element used for attack is a bit volatile it might be cause for friendly fire.

SG-8P Punisher Plasma Shotgun

From the looks of it, it seems the SG-8P Punisher Plasma Shotgun is a variant of the SG-Breaker Incendiary. The key difference seems to be that the SG-8P Punished fires Plasma and going by the description, there is a very high risk of friendly attacks.

The B1-Supply Pack does not seem to be something too special but it does increase the number of slots from 4 to 6 when compared to the current supply pack. We can infer from this increase that there may be new support weapons added and their ammunition can be conveniently stored due to more slots in the supply pack.

BX-7 Displacer Pack

This is a very useful defensive backpack and it can be looked at as a lifeline when you are about to die. The backpack has a teleport feature which will be used when the user is about to take damage that will be lethal. It can become an even better backpack than the shield backpack if the cooldown length of the teleportation is decent.
