To dive straight in SP, or skill points, in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a requirement for unlocking new Folios skills for each of your party members. Since a big aspect of the game involves teammates fighting enemies and exploring the land, new skills are a necessary part of FF7.

There are 2 ways that players can get SP and then use the SP to upgrade the skills of their party. We will be listing both of those ways and then also explaining which way is the fastest if you are in a hurry to increase your SP.

There are 2 ways in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that you can get SP, leveling up and purchasing manuscripts, and we will be explaining how both work below.

Leveling Up

SP is not like AP and you won’t gain any just by fighting battles. SP can only be obtained when you level up. At each level up you will gain up to 5 SP that you can then use to upgrade skills. This is however a tedious way to increase your SP and will take a long time to upgrade your characters significantly. Fortunately, leveling up is not the only way that you can get SP so there is no need to be disheartened.

Purchasing Manuscripts

Another method that you can use to gain SP is by purchasing manuscripts through the Moogle Emporium. Each character can purchase a different type of manuscript and you must find a Moogle home in one of the regions of the world.

Once there, you will participate in a mini-game in which you will need to gather all the Moogles into a specific area and that will open up the region’s Moogle Emporium for business. Once you pass the mini-game, talk to the Moogles to access the shop and purchase manuscripts using the Moogle Medals. Each manuscript you purchase will give the selected character 10 SP, which will let you unlock Folios skills.

There is some possibility of being given manuscripts as rewards for completing quests but purchasing them is a sure way to get them. Something to be cautious about is that there is a limited number of manuscripts and once you use them all up, they are finished.

Leveling up is the most common method of obtaining SP and then upgrading Folios skills but it is not the fastest. You need to grind intensively and put in quite a bit of time to level up and accumulate enough SP to unlock skills.

Purchasing manuscripts on the other hand is a much simpler and faster way to get SP and unlock skills. Since being able to purchase manuscripts only requires you to visit the Moogle Emporium and finish a simple mini-game, it takes a lot less time. The only drawback of using the manuscripts is that there are a limited number available.

This concludes everything you need to know about how to get SP fast in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. We mentioned 2 ways to obtain SP, by leveling up and purchasing manuscripts.
