The developers have released this Pokémon Go February spotlight hour to give a chance to all players so they can catch the Pokémon and then battle with them by evolving them.
Schedules for Next Spotlight Hour
The next Pokémon Go spotlight hour will be given to Ralt as it is confirmed by Niantic, the one who organizes these spotlight events. This Pokémon will go live on January 16, 2024, where this Pokémon will be found in bulk quantity between the period of 6 PM to 7 PM Local Time. Players can get a lot of Ralt during this specific time whereas you are in the world.
You can also get the bonus from this event by grabbing double the candy for getting your hands on this Pokemon. Players can also get some Ralts which may appear shiny to them and this way you can have more Ralts during this time.
Ways to Grab Ralt in Pokemon
When the Pokémon Go February spotlight hour starts, you will be running against time as you will only have an hour to catch them. There are a lot of ways through which you can get prepared before you begin the hunt for the Ralt Pokémon. The following steps will ensure that players are fully ready to engage with the Pokémon so read all of them below:
- You must ensure that you have plenty of Poke Ball so you can get your hands on a lot of the Pokemon for the spotlight hour.
- Players must keep an ample number of berries so they can get double candy and make the catches of the Pokémon much easier.
- The Pokémon Storage Box should be empty so new Pokémon that are being caught can be accommodated in this storage.
- You can save all the Pokecoins to spend them on an Incense during the event.
- Players can use any extra item that they are not using to increase the XP along with the Stardust that they will get in this event.
Pokémon Go February spotlight hour Spawn Rate
The game will increase the spawn rate of the Pokémon for 60 minutes and you will get plenty of the specific Pokémon during this hour. You can further increase your chances by using Incense and Lures to catch Pokémon. Some players think that the spawning rate of shiny Pokémon will increase during the spotlight hour but that is not the case.
The fact that the number of the same Pokémon appears a lot so you will have a lot of encounters with the shiny ones during these hours. You can check if a Pokémon is shiny or not by just selecting them. If you select them and they do not shine, then just leave them and move on to the next one. Those players who only come to the Pokémon Go February spotlight hour to catch the shiny ones should use Pokedex classifications. This aids players in keeping the collection of the shiny Pokémon separate from others.
