The Epic and Legendary Sigils can only be collected after completing the Main Story. Furthermore, Sigils can be upgraded by players by going to the Blacksmith or visiting a Hallowed Ground. A Sigil upgrade requires several rupees and treasures.
The tier level of the Sigil dictates the upgrade cap of the Sigil. The upgrade level cap is the following:

The Best Sigils In Granblue Fantasy: Relink
There are many different Sigils that grant players different and special powerups. We will be listing our favorite Granblue Fantasy Relink Sigils below.
Damage Cap Sigil
A unique combat mechanism used in Granblue Fantasy: Relink is the damage cap mechanic that limits the amount of damage dealt when you attack an enemy. What this means is that there is a threshold that you will not be able to pass when your attack reaches a certain level. All the attacks will deal the same amount of damage regardless of how high your attack stat is.
To bypass this limit, the Damage Cap Sigil is the best way for you to use your maximum power when fighting an enemy. This ensures that the Damage Cap Sigil is the best Sigil in the game, as with it, you can boost your attack up to 250 percent over the limit.
Autorevive Sigil
This Sigil is a literal lifesaver. If you die during combat and have the Autorevive Sigil, you will come back to life instantly. This will save you from failing your quest, and as a bonus, the critical condition bar will be unchanged.
You can use the Sigil multiple times in the same battle but there is a cooldown period. If you upgrade the Sigil to a high enough level, you can reduce the cooldown. The use of the Sigil is similar to drinking a potion but it is done automatically and even if you don’t notice your heal dropping too low, you will instantly be brought back to life.
Supplementary Damage Sigil
Another Sigil that helps raise your attack over the damage cap is Supplementary Damage Sigils. By using this Sigil your attacks can add a secondary hit of damage that crosses the damage cap
If you manage to reach the maximum trait level of 45, then there is a 100 percent surety that each of your attacks will trigger the supplementary damage. In addition, if you use both the Damage Cap Sigils and Supplementary Damage, you will increase the damage dealt by your attacks significantly.
Quick Cooldown Sigil
This Sigil can come in handy for players that have abilities that require cooldown time. Since those character-specific skills are a necessity that many players want to use as much as possible, decreasing their recharge time can be very beneficial for a battle. When the Sigil is fully upgraded, it can reduce all skill recharge by 20 percent, allowing you to use them faster.
Potion Hoarder Sigil
This is a utility Sigil and not what someone would consider to be on a list of the best sigils when most of the Sigils in the list are related to battle. However, this is also in fact an ability that can be of major use in battle. In simple terms, the Potion Hoarder Sigil increases the player’s stock of recovery items.
At max level, the player gets 3 additional green potions, 5 additional blue potions, 5 additional mega potions, and 2 additional revival potions. These extra potions can easily change the turn of a fight, For instance, if in a battle you need to stay out of critical condition or save your party, you can either use the revive potions or give your party the blue potions.
Tyranny Sigil
While it is important to be able to cross the damage cap threshold, it is also important to have a high attack stat so that crossing the damage limit gives the biggest boost. This is where the Tyranny Sigils come into play. This Tyranny Sigil reduces your health by 20 while increasing your attack.
If you can afford to lose 20 percent of your health to raise your attack power, then this transfer can make an exponential difference when in combat. The best thing is the reduction of health remains constant even after upgrading the Sigils.
