How To Get Mike Wazowski In Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you want to acquire Mike Wazowski in Dreamlight Valley then you need to travel to the Monsters Inc. realm, which will cost you 15,000 Dreamlight. Once you enter the Monsters Inc. realm, you will trigger a short cutscene and then you can go and inspect the large metallic door to initiate the Escape Claws questline.

Escape Claw Questline

The first thing you need to do is disguise yourself so you don’t look too out of place to the inhabitants of the realm. To do this, you can search the nearby lockers to get your hands on some monster accessories and equip them.

Once your character is in the proper attire go and talk to Sulley, he will ask you to clean some slug slime puddles with your watering can. Once you clean the puddles and pick up the trash and party supplies, update Sulley on your progress. He will then ask you to make some coffee, a regular black coffee for him, and a non-dairy blend with three sugars for Mike Wazowski. 

When you go to deliver their beverages after making them, you will learn that Mike Wazowski was stranded and trapped in the human world. You need to locate the emergency manual that is on a nearby desk and hand it to Sulley. Once Sulley reads the emergency manual, you will be tasked with finding three missing fuses. The missing fuses can be found on the laugh floor and you need to insert them back in the fuse box. Once the power is back, Mike Wazowski will also appear in front of you.

Eye On The Prize Questline

After completing the Escape Claw questline, you will trigger the Eye on the Prize questline. This time you need to speak to Mike Wazowski to get your objectives for the new quest. He will ask you to find a way to open the jammed reception door.

To achieve this, you need to find the required piece of equipment from a red toolbox. When you look in a red toolbox, you will find the MIFT toolkit, which you can use to jimmy open the lock and grab the keycards from the reception desk.

After this, Mike Wazowski requires your assistance in examining the children’s bedrooms for laugh-related clues. You can survey the several books, drawings, and toys in each room and then report to Mike Wazowski with your findings. Something to be cautious about is the clutter in the final room that you need to examine. You can clean up the mess and expose the whoopee cushion.

Before you finish the quest, Mike Wazowski will task you with bringing three soda cans from the vending machine in the reception area. This is a pretty straightforward task and you can easily obtain the red and blue sodas from the vending machine. However, to get the green soda you will need to take some extreme measures and attack the vending machine with your pickaxe. 

Mike Wazowski and Sulley will finally move into the apartment you place in your valley once all three sodas have been delivered.

Unlock Mike & Sulley’s Apartment

Once you build the apartment in your valley, Sulley will show up instantly but you need to travel back to the Monsters Inc. realm to bring Mike Wazowski to the apartment. Once there you need to take a selfie with him and that will convince him to join Sulley. After you have unlocked both Mike Wazowski and Sulley, you can talk to Sulley to trigger Monster Movie Night Quest.
