This single-player action adventure RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 was released earlier this month but has already received rave reviews. This beautiful open world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and the intriguing story has kept players glued to their screens. The combat is something that is criticized by critics but overall the game is worth playing.
One of the most important aspects of any RPG is the quests that you can play to unlock rewards or progress in the game, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 is no different. Some quests require critical thinking, like the Nameless Village Quest, and you can easily fail them if you do not think.
On the other hand, some quests are more straightforward and require you to move through the various actions to complete. The Arisen’s Shadow Quest is a quest like that and is also a quest that you are forced into. It is given to you while you are unsuspecting and you may want to get it over with as soon as possible.
We will be discussing how to complete The Arisen’s Shadow Quest quickly so you can move on to more exciting pastures. Continue reading and follow all the steps in this walkthrough to complete the quest in no time.

The Arisen’s Shadow Quest Walkthrough
The Arisen’s Shadow quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of those quests that you do not need to go looking for to initiate. It will start once you complete some tasks for Captain Brant after you arrive in Vernworth. As soon as you finish the three monster culling requests and report back to Captain Brant you will begin the quest.
The first objective you need to complete to progress in the quest is to find out who is following you. This objective is not dependent on the time of the day and can be complete regardless of whether it is night or day.
While you are moving around the city your pawns will notice that someone is following you and comment that there are eyes upon you or you are being watched. When these comments are made stop and look around for anyone suspicious.
After looking closely you will see Bermudo in brown leather clothes and face covered by a hood. Once you manage to locate him you need to chase him and pin him to the ground.
To let Bermudo go or not?
Once you manage to capture Bermudo you will face a choice – refuse to let him go or demand compensation. In both scenarios, you will have to fight Bermudo so the choice is not as significant as it seems.
If you refuse to let him go a fight will begin and similarly if you demand money he will refuse and you will have to fight. Regardless of how the right starts you need to be careful that you do not kill Bermudo.
You only need to keep him fighting till Captain Brant shows up and stops the fight. When you talk to Captain Brant after he stops the fight, he will let you know that Bermudo is a spy from Battahl. He will ask you to wait a few days and check back with him so he can get more information from the spy.
After you wait a few days and go back to Captain Brant you will be rewarded 4000 gold and be informed that Bermudo will be kept in custody. Captain Brant ensures you that he will inform you if he finds out anything. You can check back from time to time to see if any new information is released.
