What Is The Release Date For MultiVersus?
MultiVersus will be available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Furthermore, the game will be completely cross-platform compatible and will support cross-progression. This is very beneficial if you want to play on different platforms amongst friends and want the progress to be carried over.
MultiVersus will be released on May 28, 2024, so mark the day in your calendars and keep your schedule clear so you can play the game as soon as it goes live. This release date was given to fans after months of no news from the developers which led to several die-hard fans losing hope.
The initial open beta of MultiVersus concluded in June of 2023, which means the official release of the game will be almost an entire year after that. Since the developers have had so much time to polish the game, we have no doubt that it’ll be much better than what fans saw during the testing phases.
New Features And Improvements In MultiVersus
The biggest change in MultiVersus that we will get to experience is the shift to Unreal Engine 5. This will no doubt make the game, characters, and stages look amazing by completely enhancing the visuals.
Another improvement in MultiVersus is the reworking that has been done on the netcode. This will obviously make the online play a lot smoother and provide a very good user experience with better hit detection.
Lastly, a new addition in MultiVersus is the PvE mode which will provide players an alternative to the PvP matches that were the norm in the game. This new addition will also make the game more enjoyable by giving users more choices so the game does not get stale. Additionally, there will be new rewards that can be obtained in this new mode.
