How to Get to the Sanctum of The Architect in Last Epoch
To find The Sanctum of the Architect, you have to go to the Divine Era within the Isle of Storms, which is found in the far west of the Last Epoch map. If you’ve already discovered most of the fast travel locations, then the best way to go about it is by going to The Temple of Lagon.
After traveling to The Temple of Lagon, work through both that and The Temple Depths to get to the place you’re looking for, which is The Sanctum of the Architect. If it sounds straightforward then that’s because it is.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you’re planning to return to the town, then we highly recommend you only return to town using the portal, which can be done by pressing T. If you don’t then you’ll have to make the long trek all the way back to The Sanctum of the Architect if you decide to return.
What is The Sanctum of the Architect?
Now that you know how you can get to The Sanctum of the Architect, what even is it? Well, it’s a level 53 area with a high number of enemies who primarily focus on using lightning-based attacks. Therefore, having some lightning resistance can be invaluable. Increasing your Health Leech is also a good bet to improve survivability since you can simply replenish your health from the various enemies if you ever need it.
How To Beat Architect Liath
While the other enemies are fairly easy to tackle, the one boss who will likely cause you difficulties is the Architect Liath, who you will likely encounter for the first time in Chapter 8. Fortunately, the key to taking this boss out is avoiding her attacks, which can be done by simply taking advantage of the fact that all of her attacks are telegraphed before they’re carried out.
So, keep your eyes peeled for where she’ll attack next, and do your best to avoid the attack before it lands. However, this can’t be done for her circular attack, which you can avoid only by standing in the very center.
Once her health is low enough, she’ll start creating Constructs whenever she teleports, so that’s another thing to watch out for. However, as long as you play smart and don’t get your health too low, you should be all good. If you want a good crit helm for your build, you can always use the Peak Of The Mountain.
Finally, when you defeat Architect Liath you’ll earn yourself three Exalted Rings as a reward for fulfilling the Destrier Mesembria Prophecy, so it isn’t as though you’ll do everything for nothing.
This concludes everything you need to know about how you can get to The Sanctum of the Architect.
