World of Warcraft (2004)

This is the first-ever World of Warcraft game that was released in 2004 and it has all the original content. Players need to purchase the base package and then a regular monthly fee should be paid to run their account. This base package was originally offered on a CD but now it can be bought online as well.

World of Warcraft Burning Crusade (2007)

This game was the second one of the series and it added some of the new characters to the game which made players more interested in the World of Warcraft expansion list. The game included 2 new races which were Blood Elves and Draenei. The blood elves were on Horde’s side and Draenei was on the side of the alliance. This game also introduced a brand new “hero class” which allowed players to start their mission at a greater level than 1 and this was not possible in any of the previous games.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm (2010)

World of Warcraft increased the levels again and this time it was from 80 to 85. It also included more than 3500 new quests in the game and this number also includes all the mini quests or any of the side missions as well. A lot of new areas were included in this latest map around the region of Azeroth. It included some of the dungeons to have more combat battles in multiplayer mode in the World of Warcraft expansion list.

World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria (2012)

The main character of the game, Pandaria was made as a part of an April Fool’s joke and then it was implemented as a character within the game. A new mode to the game was also increased, which was named the challenge’s mode, and a new battle against pets was included in the Pet Battle System which was the newest addition in the World of Warcraft expansion list.

World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor (2014)

The level cap of the game was increased to 100 for the very first time and this is why characters will have more power and strength if their level is at a maximum level. This game did not include many major changes but some of the basic ones included custom garrisons or even a new raid party.

World of Warcraft Legion (2016)

The World of Warcraft legion increased the level cap to 110 and it included new dungeons and abilities of PVP modes as well. A new Hero class was also added to this game which was named “Demon Hunters” in the World of Warcraft expansion list. It was a great addition as players could now start their play from level 98 in the game.

World of Warcraft Battle of Azeroth (2018)

The level cap was raised from 110 to 120 in this version and the two new continents were introduced. A notable feature of allied races of the expansion was introduced. This led to races that were previously associated with one faction but could now join any of the other ones in the World of Warcraft expansion list.

World of Warcraft Classic (2019)

It was an addition where the servers of the game were added, and players could play it in its original form. This way, any of the new players could easily try the old versions of the game and after the patch update of 1.12.1, players could even attempt to play the original 2006 version as well.

World of Warcraft Shadowlands (2020)

It is the first game where the developers decreased the level from 120 to level 60. There were not many changes to the game, but it served as an integral part where the levels were changed in the World of Warcraft expansion list.

Burning Crusades Classic (2021)

This game introduced the addition of some specific servers so players could choose any character of their wish. This main server, the Burning Crusade server was launched on 1st June 2021.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic (2022)

It included the wotLK server which allows the players to travel all the way to experience the 2008 server.

World of Warcraft Dragonflight (2022)
