What Is New In The Latest Granblue Fantasy Relink Patch?
There are several changes, updates, and fixes in the new Granblue Fantasy Relink Patch, for both the PlayStation and Steam versions. We will highlight all of the changes below.
PlayStation
The biggest change introduced in the new patch in the PlayStation version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink is the way matchmaking works. There have been some adjustments done to the Power Adjustment option in the Matchmaking setting, which when turned on now will ensure that players are matched against other players of a similar level.
A significant issue in the PlayStation version was that players got lower or no drops when breaking boss parts in two certain quests. Those quests were Hope in the Machine and Know Your Enemy. This bug has since then been fixed, and players should have no worries farming for the boss parts.
Another similar but different bug was when the player used the Very Hard, Extreme, Maniac, and Proud difficulties to fight bosses and complete quests. The bug caused the chest to not spawn at all, and therefore, be unobtainable for players, causing a wave of frustration for players who struggled to complete the quests in the high difficulties.
Steam
A new addition in the Steam version of the Granblue Fantasy Relink is the capability of a backup save being created when saving the game. This is a highly convenient feature to avoid loss of data.
An issue that some users faced on the Steam variant of Granblue Fantasy Relink was their DualSense wireless controller sometimes disconnecting randomly. The new patch fixes this bug and players will now be able to use their DualSense wireless controllers without any issues.
